South West Coast Ireland - 18-26th July 09
We will depart from Holyhead on Saturday the 18th July and return on Saturday the 25th or early Sunday the 26th July.

The ferry will depart from Holyhead to Dublin. From here we will drive to Cork and then onto Killarney and the Coast.

Expedition members may join at Holyhead or fly into Dublin or Cork. Transport will depart from Dublin early Saturday afternoon and will arrive Cork earl evening of the 18th. We will start to travel back to Dublin on Friday evening or Saturday morning depending on expedition members flights.

We plan to Paddle on Sunday the 19th departing Batinskelligs bay. The aim is to kayak out to the Skelligs, the Skellig Michael Monastery and then on to the Blasket Islands. We will have a support vehicle with us at all times so should the weather not be suitable for kayaking on the open ocean we will be able to conduct day paddles in sheltered areas. We will paddle for at least 5 full day’s.

Max number of expedition members 6 with two guides.
All expedition members should be self sufficient to include personal kayaking equipment and camping equipment. The expedition will start and finish from a formal camping area and it should also be possible for B&B but we do need notifying if B&B is required.
