Week or Weekend courseThis course is designed to develop your existing sea kayaking skills and knowledge into those of a fully fledged sea kayaker. We will take you into wind and sea conditions that will test your existing skills and reinforce their strengths as well as looking at areas on which you can improve. We will look at all the aspects involved in being a competent sea kayaker including tide races, navigation and rescues in rough water.
Is this course for you?You need to have been sea kayaking fairly often or be a competent grade three river paddler for this course to be right for you. You don’t necessarily need to be able to roll every time but you at least need to have a good idea of what the roll involves.
